With over 30 years experience in floral design, Dream
Occasions lead designer, Jorge "George" Mercado, first got his start
in the floral business at the astonishing age of 9! He began by selling flowers
from his mother's beauty salon in Argentina. By the age of 14 he had managed to open his own flower shop in his home
town of Formosa, and later a store in Buenos Aries.
Pursuing his
own American Dream, Jorge came to Florida in 1996. He has worked as a professional
designer and event consultant for several popular flower shops, delighting countless customers
with his attention to detail, helpful suggestions and unique eye for dramatic design. With his guidance
Dream Occasions was launched in the Spring of 2006.
Since it's
opening, Dream Occasions has grown substantially thanks to referrals and word
of mouth. Dream Occasions has provided custom floral designs for weddings and events from Jupiter to Coral Gables,
